Civil Service Reserve List?

Okay so I applied for a position at HMRC as a crim investigator band O (officer grade) and have been informed today that I am on the reserve list. Not very hopeful to getting a job but just wondering if anyone has any experience of the reserve list?

Just for reference the interview was 2 behaviors, 2 Strengths

I scored:
Behavior 1 -> 6/7
Behavior 2 -> 6/7
Strength 1 -> 4/4
Strength 2 -> 3/4
Strength 3 -> 4/4

So my total score was 23/26? Is this any good? Or bad? I have no idea really

This is a good set of results - it often would get you the job depending on how many vacancies there are. I can tell you that the cut-off point for rejections is 3/7 and below i.e you need a minimum of a 4 in your behaviours to pass. Most people in my experience (in and out of civil service over 10 years in 5 different departments) do get a job eventually on a reservice list.
