Hello there

I am FY2 about to rotate to GP rotation

I was sent rota, and it showed that I have weekend shifts to cover Medicine in the hospital.

Is that allowed in a GP rotation please?

Thank you so much for replying!

Yes, it's allowed. Not much fun, but it does at least mean that you'll get paid a bit more than base salary. You can always talk to the trainee currently in that post to find out a bit more

I did this during GP FY2 a few years ago. Psych FY2s (in the community) had to cover surgery lololol.
