Hi there

If anyone can help me out of answering these questions please? Appreciated in advance

1. Name two organisms/pathological conditions that are routinely isolated in lab and give some detail about their background, how they are detected (media etc.), sensitivity pattern and common resistance.
2. Examples of high-risk organisms and high-risk samples – ACDP classification.
3. What is the difference between EUCAST and BSAC antibiotic sensitivity standards?
4. There will be questions on antibiotic resistance, patterns and mechanisms so try to learn common examples of resistance and how we detect them in lab. Common resistance mechanisms include MRSA, VRE, CRO and ESBL but there are others as well and knowing a few would be beneficial.
