“Evaluate the Marxist ideas on education”

I did A level sociology last year and this is a summary of what I would have done:
- introduction: summarise what marxists believe (link in core debates if you can- structure vs action, consensus vs conflict)
- paragraph 1: go into more detail by including marxist sociologists
- paragraph 2: evaluate with feminism (you could start this with something like although feminists agree that the education system generates inequality, they argue that this inequality is a result of education serving patriarchy rather than capitalism"
- paragraph 3: evaluating both by arguing how marxism ignores positive roles of education (link in functionalism)
- conclusion: bring in structure vs action (marxism is too determinism)

This is off the top of my head but I hope it helps in some way
