@Ammar_

Thanks for your question! As I don't have the exact information on how difficult the maths is in this course, I have asked the course tutor and i will get back to you as soon as possible once they have replied.

In terms of graduate prospects, by studying economics you'll have a wide range of career paths open to you. Some of our graduates have gone on to undertake roles with organisations like Deloitte, HMRC, HM Treasury, the NHS, Experian, PwC, and the Government Economic Service. If you develop a passion for research during the course, you might decide to carry on to postgraduate study. This is a great opportunity to specialise in an area that interests you.

I hope this helps!

Hi. My name is Miral and I am an international applicant, planning to pursue my postgraduate degree at MMU.

I have applied for a MSc in Management and Consultancy and received a conditional offer from MMU for the January 2022 intake. I believe the course would be starting from mid January (10th Jan), however as per the condition I have yet to submit my final results transcript, which I will be receiving from my current University in the last week of January or first week of February, by the latest. I wanted to know if I would still be considered as a potential candidate and would be given an unconditional offer and CAS letter due to a later submission of results than the course's start date? Even if I am accepted and enrolled into the course, the time required for Visa processing and travel to UK may further delay me from commencing my course, and hence would not be favourable for my study progress at MMU.

On another note, I have my second year results from the BA Honours degree and an enrolment letter which I can give as an indication of a partial transcript. These were officially published on my university's Moodle site and I can share this with you, if it suffices for receiving an unconditional offer.

Kindly advise on what should I do.

Kind Regards

Hi Miraal_K

Apologies we have only just seen your questions as the university was closed for the Christmas break, therefore, we were not monitoring the student room. If you have not done so already you will need to contact our International admissions team for them to advise on this situation further for you. You can contact the admissions team at [email protected]

I hope this helps

Hello!

I'm Hayley and I'm a PhD applicant in the field of Computer Science.

I am currently at the stage of my application, where I am looking through the Application Checklist of extra required information.
My question is, will I be required to show my passport as part of my application? I am not an overseas student, so I was wondering whether this part still applies to me?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. <3

Hi xElementx92 Hayley,

If you are a UK student, you do not need to upload your passport or English Language qualification as part of the application process. I hope this helps!

Hi everyone,

A little reminder, the UCAS undergraduate deadline of the 26th of January is soon approaching!

Our ability to consider applications received after the 26th January depends on the availability of places, and the number and quality of applications received, which will vary from course to course.

If you have any questions regarding any of our courses, let us know and can reply to you as soon as possible.

Good luck with all of your applications!

Hi Carly, I applied before Christmas for both the Art foundation course next year (directly) and Illustration and Animation the year after via UCAS. I've heard had offers from every other uni but not a word from Man Met on either application. Given that an additional brief was set for the foundation application it feels a bit rough to have no feedback at all - should I just assume my application wasn't successful or is it possible it has been misplaced?

Hi Bernie2004

Applications will have different turn around times at different universities. You will receive a decision on your applications as soon as possible, please do not assume your application hasn't been successful! I know it is super stressful waiting for replies, however, we have received a high volume of applications and our admissions team are working through applications as quickly as possible!

Please feel free to contact the Art and Design admissions team at [email protected] or 0161 247 5922 The admissions team will be able to chase both of your applications to and give an update for you.

Hope this helps!
