I don't think there's a thread yet for 2022 Physiotherapy applicants. Who is currently applying in the hope of starting next September?

Hi,
I’ve applied for Keele, Salford, Derby, Notts and Birmingham. I’m a mature student (2nd career) and Keele and Salford have a good reputation for their support.
I have an interview with Salford in December.
I’m currently working as a Pelvic Health Therapy assistant, run my own business as a strength coach with pelvic health specialism for those with prolapse and pelvic health problems. I’m having to complete an access course to allow me to go back to uni as my last Masters was 11 years ago.
Hope you all get the interviews and offers you’re looking for.

I’m also applying for St. George’s and Brunel, but then also KCl, MMU, and Liverpool. My application got sent off this week, so I’m just waiting to start hearing back now!

I'm applying to MMU too. What are your predicted grades because I'm so worried I won't get in if I get a C in biology even though they accept that.

I'm a mature student so I'm currently doing an Access Diploma (though I do also have an A at A-Level Biology from previous study). From what I've seen most of the various Universities offering Physio say, the first thing they do when they get applications is screen out people who don't hit the advertised grade criteria and then everyone who passes past that has their personal statement looked at and graded. So as long as your predicted grades hit the minimum requirements, I wouldn't worry too much as it sounds like it is more the strength of your personal statement that would get you any interviews, and then the strength of your interview that gets you offers. Predicted grades merely open the first door.

Having seen that you've applied to study here at UEA I thought I'd just say a quick hello. If you have any questions about UEA or being a student here in Norwich at all, please do feel free to let me know. Best of luck with your applications!

I got an email from notts saying “We've received a large number of applications for this programme from highly qualified candidates. We are still actively considering your application but it will take us a bit longer to give you our decision as we want to give equal consideration to all the applications we receive before the UCAS deadline. We realise that you will want to be notified of our decision as soon as possible, and we will not hold your application unnecessarily. We aim to make a decision as soon as we can and you should expect to hear from us by 31 March at the very latest” is that pretty much a rejection
