Hi @Deeksha14

I hope you are doing well.

Congratulations for receiving an offer for GDL at City! How did you find the application process?

Student life for students studying the GDL tends to be the same as majority of the students. You have the ability to join societies, create societies, make new friends during welcome week by attending a variety of events hosted by the Students Union. For example, last September, the Students Union had planned open bus tour to show students the various London tourists spots.

Regarding your accommodation, then please click here which will take you to our Accommodation page for City, University of London. This provides more information regarding accommodation and you are able to email the accommodation team who will be happy to help with your query.

I hope this helps. If you have further questions, then feel free to ask them and I will be happy to answer them.

Anisa 😊

hi,

A good question! Law is pretty much a course based on independent work/study. When I was studying, I roughly had 10 hours a week (2 hour lectures every week for each module and 1 hour tutorials every fortnight for your modules) but ofcourse, this might vary year to year & depending on what modules you choose

That being said, if you would like extra assistance, professors do have office hours where you can book meetings with them to ask any questions you may have! We also have the beautiful law building, with its own library, where you can come in and do some studying☺️

Hope that answered your question and do ask if you have any more!

Hi, I had a booking for a 17.9 sq m En Suite room for £300.23/week at Eleanor Rosa House in London (Student Hall) for 2024/2025 academic year, never moved in, but due to a change in my plans, I have cancelled my booking just 24hrs after booking. If you or someone you know is interested, act fast! The full description is here: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7520844
