I am in the process of uni applications and the entry requirements at the UCL website are a bit confusing. I took Math AA SL. All other unis do not require math at HL for this course but from what i understand UCL does and i thought it was not needed for biochem. Do I understand it wrong or can i not apply? Maybe it means 6 in math hl or sl???????

Here’s a quote from the entry requirements: “A total of 18 points in three higher level subjects to include Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematic, with no score below 5. The programme will accept either 'Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches' or 'Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation' at higher level.”.
So unfortunately with SL maths you wouldn’t meet the entry requirements. If you’ve got an extra space and you really want to go you could still apply but given how competitive UCL is if I were in your position I wouldn’t.

Yeah I probably won't. Thanks!
