Uni - i am in my final year with 0 friends, no one to talk, any advice?

So, I am in my final year of university, throughout my first and second year, I had no one to talk t, no friends, I never want to an event or club or do anything apart from studying and I have near socialised with anyone outside of uni work ( such as coursework, tests,etcs). Also, I have never attended any society or joined any society throughout my years of university because it's expensive and being a member of a society will cost around £15 - £8.

I am currently living in student accommodation outside the campus. I live with older ( very old) international students ( that have 0 English skills) and some do not attend my university. This means that I trap, alone in my room and the only entity that is comforting me is my thoughts.

don't get me wrong I tried my best to make friends such as attending events or workshops held by my university, but I get 0 outcomes from these events.

I just need some advice on how to make friends in my final year?
Just talk to people tbh, find people w/ common interests at clubs for example.

On TSR, these people would be referred to as “anon trolls”, and this is unfortunately common here. Quite the cesspool, for a lack of a better term. I would give advice to the OP but your previous post says it all tbh. :yy:
