Any ideas what to improve or change for my Space Physics EPQ?

Hello,

I have decided to do my EPQ on space physics, specifically related to manned spaceflight to exoplanets (planets outside the solar system) and beyond that.

I'm sort of struggling with a solid question that I can use. I've came up with a few: "To what extent is human spaceflight planets possible?" or "To what extent is human spaceflight to exoplanets a possibility." I don't want a question with a specific answer but rather one where I can discuss many points and create an argument.

Within the chapters, I aim to talk about things like: Technology (past, present and future), ways of achieving long distance travel and the consequences of doing this.

Here's my layout (work in progress):

Chapter 1: Introduction

- Introduction to space, a sense of scale (using comparisons to other planets and stars), use of common units such as AU units.
- Talk about humanity's accomplishments and achievements, such as the Moon landing, the Rovers and space probes such as the voyager space probes (and their distances from Earth), Hubble Telescope.
(Around 400-700 words)

Chapter 2: Technology

- Technology that has been used in previous years such as the type of rocket used during the Apollo Missions.
- Current tech and the tech which may be needed in the future.
(Around 500-1000 words) (I'm still unsure about writing about Tech because I think that I may be unable to describe in much detail and it may be quite repetitive).

Chapter 3: Gravity Assist

- Describe what gravity assist is, and how to create a setup, so that this move is able to be performed.
- Talk about the advantages and disadvantages
(Around 600-900 words)

Chapter 4: Wormholes

- Describe what wormholes are, and the way they work
- Talk about the advantages and disadvantages
(around 800 words)

Chapter 5: Warp Drive

- Describe what warp drives are, and the way they work
- Talk about the advantages and disadvantages
(around 800-1000) words

Chapter 6: Cryogenic Sleeping

- Describe what cryogenic sleeping is, how it works and how it may help humans for long distance travel.
- Advantages and disadvantages of it
(around 600-800 words)

Chapter 7: Consequences of Fast Travel

- Talk about stuff like time dilation, length contraction
- Physical effects on the human body from long duration in space
(750-1000 words)

Chapter 8: Conclusion

- Summarise the essay and give my opinion on whether it is possible for humans to achieve such things
(200-300 words)

This is what I have planned as for now, I haven't begun my writing, but I am researching information and still debating a few ideas. The rough idea of how many words are bound to change, but any tips or ideas to write about instead of my ideas will be appreciated and taken into account.

Both of those titles sound really good and it seems like you've really thought it through, only tip would be to extend your conclusion to about 600+ words because this is the point where you really answer your question and I don't think 300 words would really give you space to justify your conclusion and collate all your knowledge

Thank you, and yeah the amount of words was a just so I could get a rough idea of how big my piece would be.
