the secret history by donna tart (could be considered a modern classic)
red, white, and royal blue by casey mcquinston (lgbt, young adult fiction)
radio silence by alice oseman (contemporary young adult)
heaven by mieko kawakami (japanese fiction, short read) (read trigger warnings online)
i tried to include a wider range of books ! tell me if you would like recommendations from a specific genre, except non-fiction i'm really not into it
