I am in the exact same circumstance - but I am hoping that everything else on my application will make up for my reference. My reference isn't exactly bad per say, just not what I would have preferred. One aspect to consider is if your application is from a state school rather than a private school - they expect private school references to be much better and state school references to be much more generic, as after all that is what they pay for at private school. Considering your grades, with a strong TSA score and good interview I highly doubt your reference will have any impact on a potential offer.
