for literature:

I memorised grade 9 paragraphs the day before my exam and the same one came up. I don’t recommend doing this but instead of memorising, I say you prepare answers before hand, get it to grade 9 standard by getting your teachers to mark it and give you feed back etc. Do it for every poem/work/possible questions that they could ask you and store them somewhere to atleast learn. Make sure you learn what to include first though and if the questions don’t even come up that you prepared for then you could easily adjust.
