Why is Warwick Law entry requirements so low?

It's top 9 in some rankings yet for Law, you only need AAA (compared to lower unis requiring A*AA) plus you don't have to sit the LNAT exam.
Why is this? Is Warwick law not competitive? What courses are most competitive at Warwick?

Thanks (I'm applying for 2022 lol)
Warwick Maths and Economics.

Warwick Maths and Economics.

Yeah I've heard econ is competitive there, would you say law isn't?

No idea. I knew a few people who did it and they seemed fairly well challenged. Couldn’t give you any insight wrt job aspects or anything as I never discussed that with them.
It is pretty good. AAA is still fairly high grades. I would put places like Oxbridge, Durham/Bristol etc above Warwick and some of the London ones.

That makes sense, I've applied to UCL, Nottingham, Birmingham, and Aston as well but I'm thinking of applying to more reputable ones like Bristol or LSE because of how competitive law is after university, what do you think?

AAA isn't low generally speaking haha, but when you bear in mind it's a top 10 uni and there are top 20 unis requiring at least one a* and an entrance exam you have to ask yourself if their law school is really that good.
Are you applying for Law 2022?

True but they do have interviews and a lower acceptance rate, I guess I'm probably overthinking it ha

i mean you've chosen very hard a levels, i love that but... i could never.. i wish you all the best (:
as for me; english literature, sociology and religious studies pls dont ask me anything abt religious studies i dont know why i chose it or what im doing; i had to do a 20 marker the other day on "what is the meaning of meaning" like pls what are you even meant to say abt that..

English seems very hard too, I never really enjoyed it tho and RE was my lowest gcse grade lol. I don't think the content of history and politics is similar but maybe the essays because they both have 30markers. There is a bit of politics in econ, I prefer economics, maybe that's because my politics teacher just makes us copy out the textbook ha, and thank you so much, all the best to you to!
