HI there, I'm in Y13 and I'm applying for medicine next year. I will need to do the UCAT in the summer and I will have medical interviews (hopefully) once I have applied, but I plan on travelling abroad. I am also looking for paid gap year opportunities. Should I book anywhere, since the medical interviews will probably be in person and where can I look that has paid gap year opportunities relating to medicine? Thank you!

No one knows whether interviews will still be online next year. They usually take place between January to March so you just have to be more flexible around that time. I don’t think there are any paid gap year opportunities for medicine. You could get more work experience or volunteer which are both unpaid but can strengthen your application or just get a job.
