is this an okay thing to do if it's backed up by further research?

Is it a documentary that focuses on (or you can relate to) the academic study of law? A law degree isn't about being a lawyer remember

It's called Murder to Mercy: The Cyntoia Brown Story on Netflix and I spoke about how it relates to criminal law and how public involvement can help certain cases receive justice etc, would you say that's relevant?

Would you learn about public involvement in cases in your degree?

Kind of, on Warwick's module page it says this in the Criminal Law section:
' You will develop an understanding of the general principles of criminal law and its operation within society, coupled with an awareness of the social and political forces that influence the scope of the law and its enforcement'

The 'operation within society' and social awareness is linked to public involvement, would you agree?

I wouldn't say it's clear from that that the public involvement would be a part of it. And even if it is, if it is only included in one of your choices, it's not going to be relevant to your other 4 unis. Ultimately, if you can think of better things to include in your PS, you would probably be better off focusing on those.

Okay then thanks for your honesty, how long do you reckon extracurricular parts of a personal statement would be?

Stuff related to your degree should be the majority of your PS. You only need 2-4 sentences on non-related hobbies, school responsibilities etc.
