Isnt 18/19 too old to start getting into big teams. Usually prem teams have football acadmies and by 17 they have filtered out all those you can keep up.
ian wright and stuart pearce would prove otherwise.

I care, and I'm American. I'm crushed by this. Losing hockey is like losing a loved one to me. And, all of the people saying no one in America cares just break my heart further. I actually burst into tears after Jon Stewart said something along those lines on The Daily Show...

So, people here care, they just aren't heard because hockey fans are too polite to riot.
lol sorry, i burst out laughing when stewart said that

Semi finals tommorow, Finals on Sunday

IMO, Ronnie will beat Jimmy quite comfortably. Possible Ronnie vs Higgins final!

Ebdon v Higgins tomorrow afternoon, should be very close but I see Higgins winning

White v O'Sullivan tomorrow evening - though Jimmy's done well so far he will have to play much better than he did today to beat Ronnie.

You can be picked up at any age really.

Last year spurs signed a player who played alongside me at youth football. He was 16, so he was quite old in scouting terms.

He now plays for there academy, and captains the England Under-17's... He's not even that good.

Drogba's another example:

1978: Born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast
1983: Moves to France
1993: Gives up football for a year
1994: Wins trial with Levallois
1997: Wins trial with Guingamp, but breaks toe
2000: Scores seven goals playing for Le Mans
2001: Scores five goals for Le Mans
2001/2: Moves to Guingamp, scores three goals in 11 games
2002/3: Scores 17 times for Guingamp; runner-up African Footballer of the Year
2003/4: Joins Marseille for £4m; scores 18 goals in 35 league games; voted Footballer of the Year in France

Considering he gave up football for a year and didn't get fully signed up with a team until aged 22, he's not done badly.

That's my plan
If only it was that easy

I honestly think if i hadn't have had the injuries i have had, i would have been signed by now. Not by a Premier League side, but by a pro team.

Oh well, i guess some things were never meant to be.
