I think Sky should indicate how much stoppage time should be played to make up for lost time during the 90 minutes so it saves reality programmes from showing to fans who keep complaining. One manager complained (forget who, think it was Mark Hughes) about the amount of stoppage time and this programme with Chris Kamara showed that instead of 4 minutes played, it should have been at least 8.
yeah, that'd be a good idea.
the introduction of technology should definately happen soon. i can't see what all the fuss is about installing it. its not like its too much hassle or too expensive.
A degree of reservation has to be made though i think on how much it affects the game and what jdugements are made without the use of external refereeing, otherwise the games could become boring.

Why? Did you use a stopwatch to time how much there should have been instead? Let's not foget Man Utd had **** loads of stoppage time once and scored goals because of it, the game went on and on and on....
There were two players who went down, neither of them for long. Then there were the pitch invaders who were both off within 2 minutes. I'd have given 4 at the most.

To be fair to them, Houllier never bothered to get the best out of him like Benitez has. He just stuck him out on the right or elft when it suited him. The only way a player can ever get truly reknowned is if they specialise. Jack of all trades, like Hargreaves, never quite make it.
Yeah, Jamie has really grown as a player in the last year

Substitutions and time taken to collect the ball from when it goes off the pitch to take throw ins and goal kicks etc?

Exactly. I have been calling for this long before Spurs' goal that wasn't, now this. As I said before, just wait if England suffers because of it at the World Cup and everyone will find other people to blame, the officials no doubt. The FA mentioned about lack of consistency because they won't be used at lower leagues but then refereeing itself is inconsistent but if managers pick this up and they're not careful they'll land themselves a fine. They also say it's expensive, but how football can't afford it but less popular sports can is anyone's guess.

Oh and if Gujohnsen is a prick then Diouf is certainly worse.
Diouf is also a prick, thats why we'll be well clear of him

Finnan was a rock, even if he had his hands full. He got up in support, and his defending was spot on. Another of our underestimated players, along with Didi.
Yeah Hamaan is so missed when he's gone...holds possession and breaks things up when Gerrard goes a bit crazy! To be honest if we played two in central midfiled i may be tempted to drop Gerrard, with Alonso and Hamaan playing :eek:But Hamaan's getting on, so maybe Xavi will take his place

Sure some of it is because of the manager but then he's not much different from Wenger and Ferguson. Then again, Clough used to be the same too.
I agree about Ferguson, but not Wenger. IMO Wenger is nothing like Mourinho, or Fergie. I think most objective fans would say they hate Mourinho and Ferguson way more than Wenger

Well I don't hate Wenger as much as I hate Moyes. And I hate SAF and Maureen more than the both of them. That should put it in perspective.

Wenger has toned down a bit in recent seasons from what I've experienced. He says things like "I didn't see it" quite a few times. And there was one lengthy one I saw by SAF about Blackburn when they beat them and got them relegated and I can't seem to find it grrrr.

Glad you thought so. He claims he gets picked on. Awwwww. I would have thought Blackburn would be better suited for him than Bolton.
