Middlesvilla got lucky yesterday.. minus diabollical finishing from Juan, Gareth and young Mr Davis, we would've got all three points for the THIRD year running at the lifeless Riverside.

    So much for that idea
Admittedly Ben was patchy. Although there were bright spots like the long throws to Randle El, he seemed to be under pressure alot of the time. He was protected quite well most of the time, but even then he left the pocket and just sort of walked into trouble. Saying that, Steelers wasted about 12 points by not being able to finish off I think 3 consecutive drives with any touchdowns; they kept ending up on 4th downs and being forced to settle for the field goal.

I have very little hope for our chances against the Ravens next week. Will they be the only team to beat us this season....twice?

I'm not as concerned. You must remember that the team is trying to play conservatively, focusing more on avoiding injuries before the playoffs than winning at any cost. They rested both Duce Staley and Plaxico Burress. Both men could have played, but the team is placing a higher priority on the playoffs. Frankly, I'm thrilled that the team is using this strategy, since homefield advantage isn't much of a worry for the Steelers. I mean, there are so many Steelers fans willing to travel for games, and they frequently overpower the fans in rival stadiums.

We did go out with the U21 rugby boys, but they weren't as much fun :p: There was one guy in a Stonyhurst shirt, but I assume that wasn't you.

Narb, I know I'm not amazing to look at anyway, but we do need to meet the weight limit or we will sink, or at least not move as well!
Hmm, green and white hoops or red and white? That tells me exactly who this person is.

You would be surprised how much faster boats go at their DWL.

Well, I'd rather have a quarterback who cares more about the team record than personal stats. :P

His rugby shirt? It was dark red and white stripes.

What, is this Joey telling me he knows something about rowing? Surely not! That would imply interest! :p:

nothing stops me...when on the erg by myself i tend to just give up

no, my main drive actually comes from a friend at oxford, who i was always v competitive with, he rows too, and so my erg aims are to just beat whatever his times are. He's ever so slightly better than me, but I know I can beat him...that's what drives me on
