What's the funniest sport you've heard about?

Mine was 'Extreme Ironing' last year! I couldn't stop laughing when I heard about it. I thought it was a joke  I guess it wasn't Oh yeah, and then someone on here (TSR) talked about it, and there was this thread, but it's gone now.

Anyway what do you guys think the most amusing sports are and why?

    Have fun,

Seems like no one knows about Danish Longball, actually I didn't know the game was known outside Denmark.
It's a bit like base ball (that is using a bat and a tennis ball), and yes you have to throw the ball at someone to "kill" him/her. When you have sent away your ball, you have to run across the playing field to the other end without getting hit by a nasty tennis ball. There you rest until you can get to the other end of the playing field without being hit again.

It was good to see him looking so sharp. We have the Owen of old back, and it jsut goes to show what he can do with the right service. Hopefully, this will silence the doubters. He should #1 in the pecking order with Rooney, as noone else in our squad have his predator instincts.

Wife carrying. Seriously, in some European country, I forget which, they have an annual tournament race over a 400 metre obstacle course. And some of them take it deadly seriously.

    YES THATS RIGHT!

The New South Wales Waratards choked again this super 12 Rugby Season...

Losing in the final to the mighty Canterbury Crusaders!

As the saying goes for any QLDer, I support the Reds, and anyone who plays NSW!
