Hi. I'm a biomedical science student at Brunel university London I had a question regarding GAMSAT in the UK. Is it really worth sitting GAMSAT too other than UCAT for international graduates like me? I saw in page 29 of GAMSAT information booklet this : At present international students are not accepted, with the exception of the A100 program at the University of Liverpool, the A101 programme at Swansea University Medical School, the A101 programme at the University of Nottingham and the A101 at the Ulster University.......
Swansea university is going to accept UCAT too for september 2025 entry and I saw in Ulster university website that they prioritize Irish applicants and then fewer GB and probably even less internationals I suppose. Also, I saw in Medic Portal website that Nottingham university has A-level requirement of AAA for GEM 2024 entry too, but it was shown N/A in Nottingham website in front of A-level requirement. So the only option is Liverpool university and they require their A-level requirements because they have only standard entry for graduates(A100) and they have been saying normally they accept AAA but they accept A*AB too. I got A*AB and My B was in Biology, but it wouldn't be a good application as an international because of that B grade. Also Liverpool only had 23 places for internationals for 2024 entry. Do you know if all I said is true or not? so basically the only university that use GAMSAT for international graduates is Liverpool with 23 places only. So wouldn't it be better to just focus all my attention into UCAT and there are way more universities for international graduates that need UCAT. Would you say focusing on UCAT is better Based on this and the fact that I'm not familiar at all with GAMSAT which is hard preparing for even in 3 months and that might impact my UCAT.... I'll appreciate your response.
