Jane Eyre

hi I have a homework question that i have no clue how to answer.
really appreciate any help ASAP!
How does Bronte make chapter 27 such a moving and dramatic moment in the novel?

I did Jane Eyre years ago so I won't be much help.

Also, just looked up the chapter-this is the one where Jane leaves Thornfield, right? It's dramatic character-development wise. Jane's always had this fiery side but she's been meek and subservient to Rochester. And that chapter though, she's showing determination and she's not bowing down to his wishes.
Also, it's dramatic in terms of the Bertha reveal, and Jane has to do some soul-searching to find out where she stands morally.
Sudden change of setting is dramatic too. She's leaving the relative 'safety' of Thornfield and is stepping out into the unknown.
Also their argument is dramatic. Rochester's pretty violent and abusive, forcing her to stay and trying to physically stop her from leaving and hurting her.

So yeah, take a look at the characters-Jane and Rochester in particular, and the setting.
