In OCR and Eduqas A-level English Literature do you need to read other texts for AO4?

Also, would doing A-level politics help with AO5?

The assessment objectives are as follows (simplified):
AO1 - write clearly
AO2 - the writer's techniques
AO3 - context
AO4 - comparing (doesn't apply to dramas)
AO5: interpretations

Typically, to complete AO4 you'd compare the text to another piece of literature that you have already studied. A-Level Politics may help for including different interpretations, but I can't imagine it would help exponentially - they're very different subjects. I could imagine A-Level Politics helping more for context, such as historical or political context - which would complete AO3.
