Hi all, I have applied for management and have since received offers from St Andrews and bath (just management) and Bristol (with a year abroad). All 3 are amazing choices- and any input as to what one i should take as my firm would be great- here's my current evaluation.
St Andrews- Offer received ABB.
Pros
Ranked no1 for my course
High reputation- could even compete with Oxbridge in future.
Gain a integrated masters.
Specialist management school.
Cons
Very far away (Live in London)
No year in industry available
A somewhat limited student life from what I've been told.
Bristol- Offer received AAA.
Pros
Year abroad- would love to experience a new culture (although i may change it to year in industry)
Good student life apparently.
Well rounded reputation- top 20 for my course.
Not too far away from home.
Cons
Not as reputable as Andrews.
Apparently very druggie
Does not have a specialised management school unlike bath and Andrews.
Bath- Offer received AAA.
Pros
I plan on doing a year in industry there- good for employability.
Seems like a nice place- and not too far away from home.
Specialist management school.
Good reputation- top 15 for my course
Cons
Again- not quite on the level as Andrews.
Apparently the student life is decent but Bristol's is superior.
Not a Russel group- neither is Andrews but still.
If anyone could share their experiences or recommendations as all seem like great choices and I really just cant pick lol. Also- would the year in industry from bath make me more employable than the masters from Andrews? And also which is the hardest to get a degree from lol. Any advice is great to be honest as I am very worried i will make the wrong choice and regret it!

Are you sure you have an offer from Bath - they are yet to make any offers for Management.
And you do not need to make any decision about Firm and Insurance until you have all your decisions : https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/uni...urance-choices

All 3 have the same reputation. St Andrews competes with Oxbridge no more than Bristol or Bath does. It sounds like you don’t want to go to St. Andrews so I’d put that as an insurance.
All unis are druggy.
EFM isn’t a thing anymore, Bristol has a management school - not that it matters.
Could probably get into a masters course at all 3.
Pick whether you’d rather live in bath or Bristol and if Bristol, pick whether the year in industry is worth living in Bath for. They’re only a £5 train apart anyway

Sorry this isn't super helpful but I'm in the exact same position as you in terms of unis, and having trouble deciding also.
It's difficult because St Andrews is so reputable, but I visited Bath a month ago and fell in love (plus they are opening a brand new management building ready for 2022 undergrads!) I think it's difficult to really decide where you want to go unless you visit, hence I'm gonna get in a visit to St Andrews hopefully after mocks.
I'm very keen to study abroad also, but I would say that St Andrews do offer it once you're at the uni, so I wouldn't use it as a deciding factor.
For me its probably more St Andrews vs Bath, just because they are so much higher up on the league tables.
Keep me updated on your thoughts - glad to see someone else is also stressing about the decision.
