Will I get glandular fever (the kissing illness)?

Currently in 1st year at uni - I kissed a girl for a minute or so at a club about 2 weeks ago. Turns out she's got glandular fever - she's in hospital but she will recover. I hear it can be in the body for quite a few weeks before someone shows symptoms.

1. Will I catch it? I've never had it before but I've heard some people say you can be immune.

2. Should I refrain from drinking? I've heard alcohol isn't good if you get glandular fever.

Thanks.

you can get it if you frenched.
don't know about the immunity part and yeah you should avoid alcohol for now until your symptoms show (if they do) and then until you recover
