Hi there,

Just wanted to ask if there's any financial help available if I do Masters in nursing? Currently in my last year of Bsc Nursing.

Can I still apply for tuition fee and maintenance loan through SFE?

Thank you.

It depends on the type of course. Normally you wouldn't do a MSc Nursing if you already have a nursing BSc because it's the same course essentially.

For MA/MSc generally, you can get a postgraduate loan from SFE which not income-assessed, which contributes towards your living costs and fees. There is no tuition fee loan for postgraduate study.

Unless it specifically states that it's not a pre-registration course and one of the entry requirements is BSc Nursing, then it'll be the same pre-NMC registration course as your undergraduate. If you are already doing a course that leads to this registration, you won't need to do the pre-reg MSc. You could however do an MSc in a related area of practice.
