Is percentage purity the same as percentage yield?
I would assume the percentage purity is to do with the proportion of impurities in a substance, so e.g. 0.1 mol C in 2 mol Cu (just completely random), whereas percentage yield is about what you expect from calculating moles and what you actually get in an experiment.
