Naturally, some people will sleep more on weekends, but very long hours of sleep affect productivity during the day.

I've been thinking of matching the hours of sleep of weekdays with weekends... Is this a bad idea?

It's a great idea. It is actually recommended that you have the same routine throughout the week.

A routine seems… easy to follow. For me, anyways.

Um, 0ptics said "no" to whether it was a "bad idea" or not. I think you may be a bit confused.

Yes. But I was specifically talking about sleep routine. It’s not a routine if you’re sleeping and waking up at different times. A lack of pattern isn’t a routine.
