Hi,

I'm planning to apply to UK for these courses: Business, Finance, Economics.

I've seen a lot of websites metion different universities and rankings for these courses but I'm not really sure. So far I've seen Manchester Leicester Newcastle Durham Warwick Bath.

Any other universities that I could possibly look at or explore?

Thanks!

There is no 'best'.

As you have discovered, rankings and league tables don't agree with each other and thats one of the reasons why they are a daft way to choose a Uni.
Each course is different even for the same subjects as each Uni has individual subject strengths and specialised staff - so it depends in what you want in a degree course. And - what sort of Uni do you want, big/small, city/campus, north/south etc. And what predicted grades do you have. etc etc.

Lancaster has a good Business school, also Loughborough could be good if you're sporty

Look for a uni with a big international population - invariably big city unis attract international students and have an international community. Thus, if you are Greek and want to mix with other Greeks for special festivals then that will be hard to do in say Bath university but there will be a bigger Greek community in say Manchester. Here is a breakdown of the student make up for the unis you have selected (data taken from the Complete University Guide)

Manchester - UK 62%, International 30%, EU 8%
Leicester - UK 73%, International 23%, EU4%
Newcastle - UK 73%, International 22%, EU 5%
Durham - UK 68%, International 27%, EU 5%
Warwick - UK 63%, International 27%, EU 10%
Bath - UK 71%, International 20%, EU 9%
