I’m currently in year 13 and thinking of doing an english literature and media studies degree. What are peoples thoughts or any knowledge on combined degrees? Is it more work, are they still viewed as highly? Also is it possible to drop one or the other once I start?
Any info or advice would be helpful thanks

Just remember that any joint subject degree means that you will only do half of the optional units as someone doing that single subject - this can sometimes be frustrating when you find that you can't do a certain unit because of timetable/selection issues. Also its possible o end up in a media job without having done that as a degree. An English degree might therefore be a better option if you want to keep mpre doors open.
