Not at all. A 2:1 is a well-respected degree, and I can think of very few situations in which having a 1st over a 2:1 makes a significant difference.

If you can think of a few situations where it matters, then the 'not at all' is inaccurate.

Hi there,

It really depends! It depends on what field you want to go into, the job role, the industry, the competition etc. Like mentioned above, a 2:1 is still a really well-respected degree - but a first would be the icing on the cake! Don't forget - you can only try your best
