The Student Room Group

appreciate a bit of help in choosing a level subjects!

Choosing my a levels atm. go to a grammar school so they make me do 4 unfortunately, with a view to dropping one for year 13. I am not 100% certain on this but I think a legal or financial pathway would be good for me, so maybe a Law degree I'm thinking? Either way, fairly certain I'll do Maths (not Further lol) and Economics, along with an essay subject (History probably), as well as a 4th. Leaning towards computer science but really keen on any advice on it, or A levels in general. Thanks!
I would suggest the English ones if you want to go the path of a lawyer, after all English is important, especially persuasive speeches.

U saying u want to pursue something in law or finance so I dont think cs would be a good choice
I have mates who did history and it's really tough so do look at the content etc before u go into it. Obv not trying to discourage u but I'm jus telling u what ik
If I was u
I would pick
Economics
Maths
Law
For my 4th choice I would pick
Politics or u could do any from english/Psychology/ sociology

Law has no requited or excluded subjects - you just need 3 high grades.

Computer Science
Economics
Maths
Any subject you enjoy is a wonderful combination for both I'd try and get further maths in there if you can
