Can I get into Chester University?

Hiya! Rachel here.

I got 12 9s and an 8 at GCSE (8 was in biology 🙄) I'm predicted 4 A*s (Physics, Maths, Further Maths, History) at A-level and an A at EPQ (About Gender, and my mentor refused to put my prediction up...) do I stand a chance at applying for Social Justice and Community Action at Chester. Please answer quickly.. I think the deadline is soon.

I'm super lost, and can't stand the feeling of rejection. I want to make a change in the world so maybe social justice is the course for me??

Not really sure if I want to go to university, I'm kind of being forced into it. Maybe Social Justice will give me a pathway into Politics????

I'm really stressed right now. I don't know how long I have and I still have up to 4 other universities to put down. I don't know if I have time to search up and read about the courses I'm picking (I don't know what I want to pick??).

Thanks in advance!!!!! xx
Yes, you’d be considered.

Edit: For other posters, they may wish to consider that the standard offer is BCC/BBC. And that the OP certainly kept busy at GCSE time.

Hi Rachel (@rsking ):wavey:

Yes, we would consider an application from you for Social Justice and Community Action.

It is completely understandable that you may feel lost and stressed, we know that choosing a university course and where to study is a difficult decision. We don't want you to feel overwhelmed and our Admissions teams are always happy to help with any questions you have in regards to your application. Their email address is [email protected]. The deadline for the applications is 26th January at 6pm but, if you submit after this deadline, your application could still be considered.

If you feel that university doesn't seem right then it may be worth talking to a careers advisor. Prospects can help, their website is www.prospects.ac.uk.

If you would like to find out more about the Social Justice and Community Action course then you can contact the Programme Leader directly at [email protected].

I hope this helps.

Alex
