You can do Bootcamp no need for a degree. Alternatively, you could teach yourself.

I’ve been reading that bootcamps can be disregarded or not taken seriously by employers, and idk how i would sell myself on a cv by self teaching ?

Software development https://syndicode.com/services/ requires an in-depth analysis of requirements. The end result should be a product that satisfies the needs of its target audience. Before you begin coding, it's critical to have a clear understanding of your customer's goals. A properly developed software will serve as a resource to your company. It will also help you stay organized and productive. Its UI and design will reflect the company's brand image.

Just learn code online.
How would that make me an attractive candidate to graduate scheme or entry level jobs tho? Would I need to show proof. Also if it’s that simple to enter a software engineering role, why do so many people spend money on computer science degrees or bootcamps
