ok, so ive passed my maths, english and engineering in my GCSE’s, if i then go to college and do an engineering course which requires me to do a maths, english and engineering exam, if i fail the college exams, will it effect my GCSE grade. (the college exam is trying to get students to get a 4+ in both maths and english and a distinction in engineering which i already have)

If you already have GCSE grades nothing that happens in the future can remove them.

Nothing effects your exam results as they are seen as individual. For instance I took my English and got an E but later an 8. Thus the 8 is the best grade so you mention that on your CV etc. You still have the E but also the 8. A bit like buying a newer edition of a book.
