Hi guys I'm looking for some help structuring my higher education details. Should I list my modules and give them in depth descriptions? How much should I write? Can I quote independent study?

Is it for one of the research schemes? I applied for Government Social Research as my third choice, and got turned down at the 'extra info' stage because they didn't think my modules were sufficiently 'researchy'. I did an MA in Education Research, but I don't think I put enough detail about just how much research methods it involved. I would add little descriptions for every module to ensure they understand what you've covered, and maybe bullet points about any other study? Think of it like a CV!

Thanks very much! Are you referring to 2022 application? How did they tell you it wasn't researchy enough?

Yes it was this year- there was some written feedback. I still got through on the other two schemes and have now got an offer for my first choice
