Can I apply to a single degree and make it joint later on?

I definitely want to apply for an English Lit degree however I’m still torn between adding Media to make it a joint degree. I literally have a few days left to send off my UCAS so I don’t want to end up making a decision I’ll regret later on. Say if I just apply for English lit and get accepted, can I then change and add media once I start at the uni?

That's a question only your specific uni can answer. Some may let you switch, at others it may not be possible.
And with the 'over-fill' of courses over the last two years, don't rely on it.
