Can I remove words from quotes in my essay?Watch

If it is a direct quote that you've directly taken from another author then no. If you are paraphrasing what they have said, then you would use your own words - then you can use as many words or as little words as you see fit. If you are have any reference questions, i would speak to your tutors about this.
Hope this helps!
