Humanitarianism, Conflict and Development

Hi,

I’m a postgrad studying humanitarianism, conflict and international development part-time. I study at the university on Friday’s but most of my course colleagues are distance learners and highly geographically dispersed.

I’d really like to meet people with similar interests for a coffee on Friday’s. It would be great if you had similar research interests, or complimentary interests. I’m keen to network in terms of career interests too. I’ve worked in 6 government departments, ‘graduated’ from the civil service Fast Stream, and currently lead a programme supporting refugees to enter into employment, housing and integration services. I balance this with parenting three kids, and happy to commiserate with other parents too!

I hope I’m not going out on a limb in saying that I’m kind and personable, with no motive other than to meet new people, spark new interests, and hopefully make new friends.
