Do women find 35 year old men yucky?Watch
Once you get past your mid 20's, it becomes significantly harder to "guess" someone's age just by looking at them, because after that, lifestyle choices play a bigger part to how you look compared to your chronological age. The sort of thing I mean is, do you exercise? Do you eat well? Is there a lot of stress in your life? etc. All these things can either significantly slow down or accelerate the aging process. Also 25 is normally about the age when it hits home to people that they're not going to stay young forever, so some people tend to be somewhat less "ageist" than they were in their teens / early 20's.
It's all about compatibility, some will be open to dating you, others will be "creeped out".
P.S. I think most twenty-something women would have more of a problem dating a man who uses the word "Yucky" rather than the fact that he's 35
I would perhaps understand your comments if he mentioned 18 year olds... but come on, at 25 you're accepted as a fully grown adult and taken seriously as such by people and society. Most 25 year olds know what they're doing in life and they're far far less likely to be manipulated like a teenager could be. No one, in their right mind sees 25 year olds as kids (apart from their parents).
Moreover, there's a regular female poster here, who is about this sort of age, who exclusively goes for guys even older than this guy, and nobody gives her a hard time over it (OK, they might question her choices / decisions, but they're not judgemental).
Even if you apply the good old dating formula (i.e. 1/2 your age and add 7 to get the youngest acceptable age) it just about checks out.
