cant decide which i prefer, St Andrews is higher ranking in some tables but Edinburgh is more prestigious- just looking for opinions of anyone who might be applying/ know much about either

I was in this situation too but for politics as St Andrews ranks higher but Edinburgh is like a household name. I decided to go with Edinburgh; of nightlife, location, more well-known etc
