Started a new job in the nhs 3 weeks ago and I just haven’t slept tonight. I’m up in 2 hours

I can tell I’m just not going to sleep. I work on wards so need to be alert. However I can’t call in sick as it’s only my 3rd week and it’l count as 1 day will count as one period of sickness

What the hell what do I do..

Have a coffee and go to work. Or if you really think you are unsafe to be there, call in sick. There are no other ways around it unfortunately.

Caffeine but not like 10 cups of coffee bc u don't want to kill yourself (exaggeration but surprisingly ppl acc drink that much in a day). Either coffee/tea or take my recommendation of an energy drink (monster - Pacific Punch is the best). Hope that helps
