Gap year after uni???

I wanted to take a gap year after my a levels. At the time I was so scared and I was discouraged and was told I’m better off just going straight to uni. I now regret listening and going to uni straight away. I’m in my third year doing a course I barely enjoy. I don’t know what I would like to do after. The likelihood is I’ll be stuck in retail. Travelling is something I’ve always wanted to do. Australia is top of my list. However, the pandemic isn’t going anywhere and now there’s a new variant. My question is, if I go travelling then should I go with someone, or is solo a good idea? I’m pretty stuck.
