As the title says, an employee has put me down as a referee for their teacher training application. The reference needs to be 500 words max.

What sort of thing should I be saying in this reference, as a professional referee?

They want to teach primary level Maths.

I did look at this previously, but I felt like it was catered more towards those who were writing a reference from an academic standpoint rather than a professional one as lists mentioning things such as their aptitude for a subject, extracurricular activities etc which I don't really know much about.
