Hi everyone, I'm struggling to answer this question for chapter 14 of Pure A Level maths and was wondering if anyone could help me. Thanks

'Given f(x)=e^4x , find the exact equation of the tangent at the point where x=1/2 on the curve with equation y=f(x)

I expect that you know the method for doing this - differentiate to find dy/dx, put the given value of x into this to get the gradient of the tangent, use the value of x to get a corresponding value for y, after which you have everything you need to work out the equation of the tangent. Which part is giving you trouble?
