Do the lectures just move onto the next week or do they go back to the missed lecture?

This depends on the university policy and lecturer. Most universities request that lecturers prioritise catching up students after strike action. This may take the form of rescheduling a lecture or putting material online. In the event that no teaching/online material is given on a topic it won't be included on your exam. Lots of unis will have FAQ pages about the strikes, see if yours does

In principle, they shouldn't happen full stop. A strike is about withdrawing your labour in toto, no rescheduling it

Hello

I would enquire about this with your uni, as they will know their own policy inside out. Im sure you will be able to catch up with the content either way.

Hope this helps!

It's not a matter of university policy, it is a matter of staff goodwill.

The workplace cannot force you to replace or re-do work missed owing to strike action, thus it cannot be a matter of policy
