Flexible Route Probation Year: Scotland

Hello!

I'm looking for advice/information on the Flexible probation route in Scotland.

I'm applying for my PGDE, but I am not eligible for the standard probationary route so I will have to do the Flexible route.

For those of you who have done it, how easy is it to find supply work/decent part time contracts? Is it doable over two years both work wise and financially? If I decide to move to England after the course is done and apply for QTS, would I be eligible for doing ECT/NQT in England and building my experience up down there instead (I'm aware if I ever wanted to move back to Scotland, I'd need to work with GTCS about getting my license but I'm just trying to see what all my options are). Or would I just be best on applying for a PGCE in England/Wales instead?

Feeling a tad lost right now, and before I make an major decisions, I'd like to have all the information available. I have contacted GTCS as well, but no reply from them yet.

Thanks
