Hey, so my subject options interview is soon and we are allowed to apply to one of the college courses. I was wondering what an NPA at SCQF level 6 is equivalent to at an SQA higher?

It is equivalent as both are SCQF level 6, but you need to think about what you want to do after school.

If you want to go the academic route then universities generally look for the more academic Highers and Advanced Highers. I dont think an NPA has UCAS points.

If you want to go the vocational route, the NPA could lead you to college and a HNC, HND, or a modern apprenticeship, or employment at entry level in your choosen career or after an HNC/HND University in the future.

You should have someone at your school who can explain pathways to you, we got a book showing what the college courses could lead to next. It is important to understand what they are especially if you are aiming to apply to University directly after school.
