Marketing degree

I am currently in Year 13 currently study a health and social care diploma and sociology A-level. I chose to study this at my college because I was in doing occupational therapy at uni (Healthcare related course), this was because my parents have always wanted me to do Medicine, but I did not want to do it, that is why I chose occupational therapy (again they weren't happy about this), So I decided to make myself happy choose something I am interested in instead and chose to study Digital marketing at uni, even though my dad doesn't quite understand what marketing is.

(I applied for Digital Marketing for uni)

Is Digital marketing good as a degree? How could I get a job in it? Is it better to take an apprenticeship for this? As I heard apprenticeships are bad??

Hey, I am thinking of doing marketing at university. I do A-Levels in art, psychology and graphics and predicted a*,a,a. I have been worried that my two art subjects will disadvantage my application. Can you help me with this please.
