Question for medics about albumin

If albumin levels can be raised by dehydration, wouldn’t it make more sense for drinking alcohol to raise albumin levels rather than decrease them? I’m sure I’m missing something out regarding the biochemistry of alcohol and it’s interaction with albumin protein but it still seems a bit counterintuitive as alcohol is a dehydrant.

Make it simple.
If alcohol impairs liver function then how can you produce albumin? Your levels have to be low.

Hahaha, of course! I was overthinking it? Thank you so much
